Use the calculator in either direction
Palworld breeding questions usually start in one of two ways: you either have two parents and want to know their child, or you have a target Pal and need a usable parent pair. PalBreed Lab supports both searches with the current Palworld 1.0 combinations.
- Find Child: select Parent A and Parent B to calculate the recorded offspring.
- Find Parents: select a target Pal to see every direct pair currently indexed for it.
- All Pals: search the directory and open a target directly in the parent calculator.
Normal combinations use breeding power
For an ordinary cross-species pairing, the game compares the hidden breeding values of both parents and resolves the result to an eligible Pal near their midpoint. Players often call this value Breeding Power, breeding rank, or CombiRank.
Parent order does not change that ordinary calculation. Swapping Parent A and Parent B therefore points to the same species result, although the individual egg can still differ in passive skills and other inherited traits.
Special recipes override the normal result
Some named combinations have a fixed child and bypass the ordinary breeding-power result. These recipes are especially important for elemental variants and newly introduced Pals. The calculator clearly labels these fixed results as special combinations.
Other species are restricted to an allowed recipe, same-species breeding, or cannot currently be produced from the parent records available to the calculator. A missing parent list should not be interpreted as a random calculator error.
Complete the breeding process in game
Once you have selected a pair, assign one male and one female Pal to a Breeding Farm, place Cake in the farm chest, wait for the egg, and move it to an Egg Incubator. The calculator predicts the species route; it does not simulate breeding time, passive inheritance, IVs, or incubation settings.
Common questions
What is the best Palworld 1.0 breeding combo?
There is no single best pair for every player. Choose the target first, then use Find Parents to select a valid pair that already fits your Palbox and breeding goals.
Do parent positions change the child?
No for ordinary species calculations. Reversing Parent A and Parent B produces the same recorded species result.
Why does a Pal have only one or two combinations?
It may use a fixed special recipe or a restricted rule instead of the full breeding-power table.
